About the position

The SAP IM/WM role involves providing expert-level business process guidance on the Department of Energy's (DOE) SAP requirements, focusing on configuration and deployment expertise. The individual will be responsible for designing and configuring business processes in SAP IM/WM, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, along with comprehensive knowledge of SAP functional areas, particularly the EHS Health and Safety modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level business process guidance on DOE's SAP requirements.
• Design and configure business processes in SAP IM/WM.
• Lead technical and management aspects of major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Direct and control activities for customer, ensuring technical requirements are met.
• Supervise others as necessary.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of SAP experience.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module areas.
• Knowledge of and experience with DOE preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• 5+ years of S/4HANA EHS Health and Safety Management experience.
• Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations and management of that data within the S/4HANA solution.
