About the position

As a Manager in the SAP Offering at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our clients in the Semiconductor industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading clients and leverage your expertise in SAP Manufacturing modules, specifically SAP MM and PP, to solve complex business challenges. You will be responsible for advising clients on best practices and technology trends, ensuring that their business processes are aligned with industry standards. Your role will involve managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients, analyzing and improving their business processes through SAP solutions, and overseeing projects from conception to completion. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while leading client engagement workstreams focused on SAP Supply Chain process design and optimization using S/4 HANA. In addition to client service, you will contribute to the growth of the practice by participating in go-to-market initiatives and driving efficiency and profitability. You will also take on a mentorship role, helping junior staff achieve their career objectives and providing leadership and support on projects. Your involvement in business development will include participating in sales pursuits and maintaining relationships with client stakeholders to establish Deloitte as a trusted advisor. Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on leading practices and technology/industry trends in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Analyze and improve business processes through SAP solutions.
  • Oversee SAP projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Lead client engagement workstreams on Semiconductor industry projects focused on SAP Supply Chain process design and optimization using S/4 HANA.
  • Contribute to go-to-market and internal initiatives to drive growth of the practice.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff to help them achieve their career objectives.
  • Participate in sales pursuit efforts as a team member or subject matter advisor.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years' relevant SAP consulting experience in a professional services environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in the Semiconductor industry or with Semiconductor clients.
  • Hands-on functional configuration and design experience with SAP Manufacturing modules including SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP SD, and SAP MES.
  • Participation in all phases of at least 4 end-to-end full life cycle implementations focused on SAP Manufacturing modules in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Technical or functional lead on at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Understanding of Semiconductor Industry product structures and manufacturing stages (Fab, Bump, Sort, Assembly, Test, etc.).
  • S4 HANA implementation experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% based on work and client needs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading discussions with Clients, SAP, SAP Partners, Developers, and Architects.
  • Experience in Materials Planning and contract manufacturer management processes in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with modeling lot splitting and lot merges in SAP.
  • Understanding of SAP ASAP and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience leading pre-sales, proposal, and RFPs.
  • SAP certification in relevant modules.
  • Signavio experience.
  • Greenfield implementation experience.
  • Master's degree.
