About the position

The SAP Master Data Governance Consultant, Senior Manager at PwC is responsible for providing consulting services in data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. This role involves analyzing client requirements, designing and implementing data management and analytics solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilization of SAP tools. The consultant will work closely with clients to enhance their data management processes, improve data quality, and derive valuable insights to achieve strategic objectives. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage complex projects while fostering high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and implement software solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
• Design and implement data management and analytics solutions using SAP technologies.
• Provide training and support for effective utilization of SAP data and analytics tools.
• Develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualizations and reports.
• Lead SAP teams in creating architecture standards and data models.
• Oversee the blueprint/design and realization phases for multiple SAP MDG implementations.
• Ensure alignment of SAP MDG solutions with business requirements and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, mapping client business requirements to solutions.
• Present proven experience in leading SAP MDG teams and projects.

Requirements

• Proven record of success managing SAP Master Data Governance solutions.
• Experience with SAP capabilities in various Master Data domain areas such as Materials, Customers, and Vendors.
• Knowledge of MDG configuration and data/process modeling.
• Experience with UI Design, Derivations, Duplicate Data checks, and Rule-based Workflow.
• Advanced experience in Data Quality setup and KPI reporting.
• Technical acumen in SAP Analytics technologies including S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with integration of MDG with ARIBA and SalesForce.
• Knowledge of Google/Azure/AWS Cloud technologies and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
