About the position

The SAP Data and Analytics Consultant at PwC specializes in providing consulting services for data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. This role involves analyzing client requirements, designing and implementing data management and analytics solutions, and providing training and support for effective utilization of SAP tools. The consultant works closely with clients to understand their data needs, develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualizations and reports to support data-driven decision-making, ultimately helping clients optimize their data management processes and enhance data quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and implement software solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
• Design and implement data management and analytics solutions using SAP technologies.
• Provide training and support for effective utilization of SAP data and analytics tools.
• Develop data models and perform data analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
• Create visualizations and reports to help clients derive valuable insights from their data.
• Lead SAP teams at a functional level, creating architecture standards and data models.
• Oversee the blueprint/design and realization phases for multiple SAP MDG implementations.
• Ensure alignment of SAP MDG solutions with business requirements and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and solve software problems, mapping client business requirements to necessary product modifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing efforts with the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance solutions.
• Intimate knowledge of SAP capabilities in various Master Data domain areas such as Materials, Customers, Vendors, and Assets.
• Experience with at least 2 SAP MDG implementations, including knowledge of MDG configuration and data/process modeling.
• Understanding of integration technologies like ALE, IDOCS, and Web Services.
• Advanced experience in performing Data Quality setup and KPI reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP Analytics technologies such as S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge of integration of MDG with ARIBA and SalesForce.
• Experience in leading the design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions in a co-deployed and hub environment.
