About the position

The SAP MM/PP Functional Consultant role involves leading and implementing SAP solutions, specifically focusing on the MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules. The position requires extensive experience in SAP logistics, particularly in SD (Sales and Distribution), MM, and related areas, with a strong emphasis on project leadership and functional design. The consultant will be responsible for managing complex projects, improving system interfaces, and ensuring effective integration with various partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement SAP MM/PP solutions with a focus on functional design and configuration.
• Manage multiple projects involving internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Define and improve system interfaces to integrate with suppliers and logistics partners using various technologies.
• Conduct full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.
• Analyze and debug ABAP programs to enhance system functionality and performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing presentations and updates on project status.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP MM/PP with strong functional, design, and configuration skills.
• 10+ years of overall SAP experience, including logistics modules like SD and MM.
• 2-5 years of leadership experience in project management roles.
• Experience with EDI and SAP interfaces for integration purposes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP HANA, including at least 1 year with HANA.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of SM/WM/EWM modules is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP technologies such as BTP, Fiori/UI5, and BRF+.
