About the position

The SAP PP Consultant will be responsible for leading data migration activities using the SAP LSMW tool, ensuring successful data transfer and functional specifications for the migration process. This role requires collaboration with business analysts and technical teams to meet project timelines and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of data migration activities using SAP LSMW.
• Analyze legacy system data, define mapping rules, and identify data transformation requirements.
• Extract, clean, transform, and load data into the SAP environment.
• Develop and execute test scenarios for data loads and validate data accuracy and integrity in SAP.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for data migration and provide detailed functional specifications.
• Document data migration processes, including custom developments or enhancements.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of data migration scenarios and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP and LSMW.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Proven track record of executing data migration in SAP implementations, upgrades, or conversions.
• Strong communication skills to interface with business stakeholders and IT teams.

Nice-to-haves

• SAP certification (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of ABAP or technical understanding for custom developments related to LSMW.
• Experience with SAP data migration tools like SAP Data Services or SAP LT.
