About the position

The position is primarily responsible for supporting key users, conducting process and requirement analysis, and managing rollout, testing, and training activities within SAP applications. The role may also involve customization and development based on skill level and demand, ensuring effective collaboration between global teams and addressing business needs at a technical level.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business in describing business requirements at a technical level.
  • Own and rectify medium to complex incidents within SAP applications without escalation.
  • Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve global tickets based on business impact.
  • Assist and/or take over global tickets and escalate complex incidents as necessary.
  • Perform problem solving in terms of ITSM by foreseeing issues and resolving them proactively.
  • Participate in SAP projects and complete assigned work tasks with limited support.
  • Gather requirements from the business and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for training and support.
  • Train key users on new functionalities in cross-functional departments.
  • Identify local process optimizations and propose improvements.
  • Build test scenarios for new functionalities and conduct testing with limited support.
  • Hold regular key-user meetings to enhance the SAP module community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Process Consultant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of business processes and how to support a global ERP system.
  • Experience working within an SAP global S/4 Hana environment and ABAP debugging.
  • Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior project management experience preferred.
