About the position

The SAP Product Data Senior Analyst at DuPont plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining business data within the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master data, supporting various business units including Kalrez, Kapton, and ACT. The analyst will be responsible for data creation, updates, and deletions, while applying relevant business rules and governance best practices. This role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders and a commitment to continuous improvement in data management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Executing material processes for data maintenance in SAP, including product data cleansing.
  • Performing complex data entry in SAP and other systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Gathering data from content owners and transferring it into a standard format for the SAP-based ERP system.
  • Understanding business data standards, policies, and procedures and applying them appropriately to data.
  • Identifying and implementing Material Master Data governance best practices.
  • Interacting significantly with Master Data Lead, fellow Stewards, and stakeholders across various teams.
  • Leading audits for compliance and improvement.
  • Conducting investigations to address stakeholder complaints.
  • Assisting customers in resolving problems using specialized knowledge.
  • Originating and improving technical documents and procedures.
  • Establishing and maintaining credibility with stakeholders and co-workers.
  • Making decisions to meet team and individual performance objectives with a focus on continual improvement.
  • Identifying alternatives to existing job tasks or processes and offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Studying best practices that can be applied to improve work tasks and processes.
  • Demonstrating self-reflection and soliciting feedback from others regarding performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience with SAP.
  • Chemical industry experience.
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing business operations.
  • Experience with master data management concepts.
  • Adept in SAP GUI Scripting and mass load tools like MM17, LSMW, MMCOPY.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both local and English languages.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as internet research tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
