About the position
The SAP RAR Consultant will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to ensure compliance with IFRS 15. This role requires extensive knowledge of revenue recognition processes and integration with order-to-cash (OTC) processes, focusing on the transition to revenue recognition as per the 5-step process outlined in IFRS 15.
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to comply with IFRS 15.
- Integrate RAR with the order-to-cash (OTC) process and revenue creation.
- Apply knowledge of IFRS 15 & ASC 606 in the revenue recognition process.
- Utilize SME knowledge in transaction processing, revenue allocation, and posting runs.
- Set up and configure revenue accounting item classes and Business Rule Framework.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SAP RAR configuration and implementation.
- Expert knowledge of SAP RAR with proven project experience.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
- Experience with the 5-step revenue recognition process.
