About the position

The SAP S/4 HANA Developer role is designed for an experienced consultant/developer with a strong technical and functional background in SAP S/4 HANA. The primary focus of this position is to develop, implement, and support SAP Finance and other relevant modules, ensuring optimal business solutions through collaboration with functional teams and adherence to SAP best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop solutions within SAP S/4 HANA to support business processes, primarily in Finance (FICO), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.
• Customize and enhance SAP S/4 HANA modules by utilizing ABAP programming and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and design end-to-end SAP solutions that align with business needs.
• Implement SAP best practices for business processes and deliver functional and technical solutions.
• Perform detailed system analysis, design, coding, testing, and support for SAP S/4 HANA projects.
• Integrate SAP S/4 HANA with other applications, manage interfaces, and enhance SAP modules to improve efficiency.
• Conduct data migration, interface development, and testing using data management tools within S/4 HANA.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, resolving errors, and optimizing SAP performance.
• Document solutions, prepare user guides, and provide training and support as needed.

Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP experience with at least 10 years in S/4 HANA (consultant and development roles).
• In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP Finance (FICO), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.
• Strong programming skills in ABAP and familiarity with development tools within S/4 HANA.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4 HANA development projects, including full implementation life cycles.
• Expertise in data migration, interface development, and SAP integration with third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of SAP best practices, including business process configuration and customization.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA database architecture, CDS views, and SAP Fiori development is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• SAP certification in S/4 HANA or FICO.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles for SAP.
