About the position

The SAP S4 HANA Architect at Guidehouse is a pivotal role focused on driving IT transformation within the public sector. This position involves designing and implementing SAP S4 HANA solutions, ensuring they align with client requirements and industry best practices. The architect will oversee system integration, provide technical leadership, and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP architecture, while also advising on security measures and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or review the design of SAP S4 HANA solutions and evaluate the system integrators' approach.
  • Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for SAP S4 HANA implementations.
  • Provide strategic vision and documentation of integration of SAP S4 HANA systems with other enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations/alternatives analysis for the use of 3rd party software solutions.
  • Develop integration strategies and oversee the implementation of integration solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization through system integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP S4 HANA development and support teams.
  • Advise and design security measures and privacy policies to protect SAP systems and data.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits as necessary.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to leverage their expertise and support for SAP solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP architecture, configurations, and changes.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, a master's degree may be used in lieu of 2 years of experience.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in SAP architecture, design, and implementation.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP certifications in S4 HANA are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with federal government agencies.
  • Knowledge of the US Department of Defense.
  • Current US Federal Government security clearance, or willingness to obtain a Secret Level Clearance.
