About the position
The SAP SD/MM Functional Analyst with PMR experience is responsible for designing and configuring SAP solutions, particularly in the retail sector. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver effective business process solutions, ensuring that the system meets business requirements and operates efficiently. The analyst will leverage their expertise in Order to Cash (OTC) processes and work with third-party systems to enhance SAP functionalities. The position requires hands-on experience in SAP configuration, user training, and problem-solving within a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional resource on projects with blended resourcing including internal employees, independent contractors, and third-party consulting.
- Deliver business process solutions within the SAP framework through hands-on configuration.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to customize business area use cases and document business processes and SAP configurations.
- Configure objects within third-party process models, including sales orders, purchase requisitions, and pricing procedures.
- Provide training to users to ensure system usability and correct business flow.
- Elicit high-level business requirements and create detailed functional specifications and test scripts.
- Identify gaps in business processes and develop efficient solutions to address them.
- Assist in the development and execution of user training and testing scripts for all cycles, including UAT and defect resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD/MM configuration.
- Deep expertise in Order to Cash (OTC) processes and configuration in SAP and S/4HANA.
- Experience with consumer products in retail/wholesale distribution.
- Knowledge of EDI, IDocs, and troubleshooting related issues.
- Experience with SAP Settlement Management and condition contracts.
- Familiarity with PMR (Promotion Management for Retail) and UDF (Unified Demand Forecasting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience in a fast-changing retail environment.
- Knowledge of all phases of SDLC and full lifecycle implementations.
