About the position

The SAP Solution Architect (PTP, MTS, QM) is a technical leader responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions for a greenfield LNG company. This role focuses on leveraging advanced SAP technologies, including S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP), to enhance financial controls, reporting, and decision-making processes. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with operational procedures and change control for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of integrated SAP solutions for Procure to Pay (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Quality Management (QM).
• Design solutions tailored to LNG-specific requirements, including hydrocarbon management and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee technical implementation projects, including system configuration and data migration.
• Leverage SAP and BTP workflow capabilities to automate business processes.
• Configure and customize SAP and non-SAP reporting tools for real-time insights.
• Stay updated on SAP technologies and trends in the energy industry.
• Liaise with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) team for configuration changes.
• Collaborate with internal business customers for user acceptance testing.
• Maintain documentation on SAP production system changes for audit purposes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP teams.
• Mentor junior SAP consultants on technical best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support for large-scale integrated solutions, preferably in the LNG industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, specializing in SAP MM, PM, and QM modules.
• 3+ full life cycle SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP MM, PM, and QM integration points with SAP FI/CO.
• Experience in designing solutions on SAP BTP, including custom workflows.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of S/4HANA 2022 suite of applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM.
• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies with external systems like ETRM and DCS.
