About the position
The Associate Director for SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing at Accenture is a leadership role focused on transforming the Life Sciences industry through innovative SAP solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in SAP, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain, along with strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and engage with clients. The role involves leading projects, managing teams, and driving business development efforts to enhance Accenture's position as a market leader in SAP solutions for Life Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Use industry knowledge to assess clients' supply chain and manufacturing needs.
- Lead teams of consultants to develop and implement SAP Life Sciences Industry cloud solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders at client organizations.
- Drive business development, proposal submissions, and sales efforts for SAP solutions.
- Serve as a thought leader in the SAP practice, enhancing team expertise in SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP projects for Pharmaceutical, Medical Technology, or Life Sciences clients.
- At least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning and solution architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas: PP-PI, QM, ICSM, BRH, CGTO.
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams, including in a Global Delivery Model.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SAP support or managed services (not considered for primary requirements).
- Familiarity with new SAP technologies like S/4HANA and Cloud.
