About the position

The SAP Supply Chain Planning Software Engineering Manager will lead the Plan engineering team within Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization. This role focuses on developing innovative supply chain platform solutions that enhance Microsoft's ability to manage its cloud and device supply chains effectively. The manager will oversee a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-quality integrated business planning processes while driving improvements in customer experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead & manage a high-performing team of SAP functional software engineers.
• Provide coaching and leadership to the team, including development of goals, objectives, and performance success criteria.
• Align team's commitments with organizational strategic directions.
• Lead engineering of solution design for integrated business planning processes, ensuring high-quality systems enablement.
• Champion modern engineering practices and help evolve customer experience and value.
• Execute flawlessly on major project releases and product launches.
• Drive service improvements through focus on automation and technical debt reduction.
• Partner with peers on system performance, capacity management, and scalability.
• Own SOX and Security Compliance for all relevant services.
• Engage with business process units and build trusted advisor relationships with teams through consistent delivery.
• Research and stay updated with industry best practices and SAP product capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, specifically with SAP IBP solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in People Management or Solution/Enterprise Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in coordinating program development of software applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with SAP HANA solutions, including S/4 HANA.
• Software engineering experience in Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure Services.
• Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms.
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and E2E Test Automation.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Worksoft Certify and Power Apps Platform.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Performance Optimization.
