About the position
The SAP Support Analyst at Waste Pro is responsible for assisting in the deployment, testing, and support of the SAP system, particularly focusing on finance data management. This role involves collaborating with the Finance Team and Business Systems to implement solutions, provide training, and manage SAP incidents, ensuring effective support for the user community and continuous improvement of SAP processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, testing, and supporting the SAP system in coordination with implementation partners.
- Manage SAP incidents and provide first-line support for the user community.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare project documentation including business processes and workflows.
- Prepare user documentation and training materials, and provide end-user training.
- Develop and support business processes enabled within the SAP FI & CO modules.
- Collaborate with other analysts to ensure system changes have minimal impact on other application areas.
- Support system integration between SAP and other internal/external systems.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline (Accounting/Finance/IT) or equivalent experience.
- SAP experience, particularly in AR, AP, FA & GL, with knowledge of other modules.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other SAP modules and products such as SAC, Business Warehouse, Business Objects.
