As a Support Analyst at BENTELER, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and supporting our SAP systems across various business processes, including Manufacturing, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, and Accounting. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the continuous improvement of these business processes by facilitating reviews of current practices, adapting learnings, and implementing improvements for future processes. You will take ownership of SAP support tickets and change requests, ensuring that key users are supported in identifying and logging these tickets. It is essential that the information provided is of high quality to ensure clear classification and assignment of each ticket. In addition to managing support tickets, you will provide regression test support during system patches or upgrades, ensuring that the integrity of the SAP functionalities is maintained. Ongoing support to key users will be a significant part of your role, which includes assisting with SAP functionalities, guiding users through defined processes, supporting data analysis and reconciliation, and identifying useful reporting requirements. You will also be responsible for setting up report variants and screen layouts, as well as providing on-the-job training for new users or new functionalities. Your role will also involve supporting business departments in documenting IT-supported business processes and contributing to future projects aimed at enhancing SAP functionalities. You will coordinate communication between business departments and IT application groups, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.
