About the position

The SAP Technical Architect role at PwC focuses on leveraging SAP S/4HANA migration, RISE, and cloud technologies to optimize operational efficiency for clients. This position involves managing and implementing SAP software solutions, providing training, and ensuring seamless integration within organizations. The role requires building meaningful client relationships and navigating complex situations while delivering quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement expertise as a SAP Cloud Architect with experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations both on-premises and in Cloud IaaS environments (Azure, AWS).
• Architect assessments and define migration strategies (Greenfield, Brownfield, or hybrid SDT approaches) for clients.
• Develop SAP S/4HANA technical architecture and cloud hosting strategies within hybrid IT and multi-cloud landscapes.
• Design and deploy SAP solutions on major public cloud IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Showcase expertise in cloud infrastructure architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and designing solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Convert SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA systems and migrate SAP workloads to cloud environments.
• Install and configure SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, PO, SAP CPI, Cloud Connector, Solution Manager, and Data Hub solutions within major cloud IaaS platforms.
• Administer Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as SAP HANA and other databases.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and clients effectively.
• Manage SAP transport and batch management.
• Tune SAP performance and optimize system performance for SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA databases, and cloud-based environments.
• Contribute to the SAP Technology Practice by reinvesting in practice development efforts and contributing towards SAP solutions and offerings.
• Stay ahead of SAP and cloud trends, leveraging innovative solutions to drive client business transformation.

Requirements

• Experience in SAP Cloud Architecture with at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring SAP solutions on cloud IaaS platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in managing SAP transport and batch management.
