About the position

The position involves supporting the technical and functional development of SAP IT applications, focusing on areas such as Warehouse Management, Yard Management, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, and Inbound Logistics. The role requires planning, designing, developing, and implementing efficient IT systems to enhance organizational functions, while applying strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve systems issues and maximize IT investments.

Responsibilities

• Work with functional IT leads to implement new content and support production.
• Utilize agile methodology to deliver system enhancements or corrections.
• Participate in monthly release cycles, ensuring timely and quality delivery of assigned user stories.
• Perform planning, analysis, design, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions.
• Provide support for complex system environments and assist users with training and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate activities for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Meet with decision makers and end users to define business requirements and resolve systems issues.
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
• Review and analyze existing systems for effectiveness and develop improvement strategies.
• Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts for application developers.
• Conduct in-depth testing and end-user reviews for modified and new systems.
• Research software products to support purchasing efforts.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in ABAP/4, SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP BI/BW, Data Warehouses, C++, JAVA, HTML, JSP, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, UNIX/LINUX, XSLT.
• 5+ years of experience in planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, documenting, and training in SAP areas, preferably Warehouse Management, Yard Management, and Inbound Logistics.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented environment.
• 5+ years of experience in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, Material Management, and Logistics Planning.
• Basic knowledge of cost and budget control.
