The SAP Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders with diverse objectives. This position requires effective communication skills, both formal and informal, to ensure that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will assess and evaluate risks associated with project timelines and will be responsible for the planning and execution of hardware upgrade project activities according to the approved timeline. In this role, the Project Manager will coordinate with application teams, including Functional, Basis, and Database teams, as well as infrastructure teams such as OS, Storage, and Networking, and external vendors. The Senior SAP Technical Project Manager will specifically lead the hardware migration of multiple SAP systems from HP Unix to a Linux platform on Dell Powerflex servers. This requires a strong background in IT, particularly in hardware migration and OS-DB migration projects, preferably within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree in IT or a complementary business degree, along with at least 12 years of experience in hardware migration of SAP systems. The role demands strong collaboration and partnering skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner to senior leaders. The Project Manager will manage and direct activities associated with small to large-scale projects, ensuring that all facets of the project are handled effectively through the full project life cycle. This includes working closely with project sponsors, business units, and users to identify project scope, develop initiatives, implement plans, and monitor project success. The Project Manager will also be responsible for delivering quality project solutions to business problems within defined budgets and timelines, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project, and ensuring effective tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.
