About the position

The SAP Technical Solution Architect at Navisite, now part of Accenture, plays a crucial role in digital transformation by architecting technology solutions for various opportunities involving Application Managed Services and Professional Services for Enterprise IT Systems. This position requires collaboration with clients to co-create solutions that align with their business objectives, while also representing the solutions to senior leadership and clients. The role involves significant interaction with sales teams and delivery organizations to ensure successful implementation and stabilization of client deals.

Responsibilities

  • Architect technology solutions during the pre-sales cycle.
  • Represent solutions in discussions with Operating Group leadership and senior client buyers.
  • Drive Technology Delivery sign-off on solutions, considering client business objectives and preferences.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
  • Promote the use of standards in solutions by coordinating with Legal and Commercial teams.
  • Provide input to Terms and Conditions and be accountable for specific contractual terms when necessary.
  • Identify Points of Contact for delivery with Technology leadership.
  • Lead stabilization efforts on client deals as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a focus on SAP Technical (Basis/Security) managed and/or professional services solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping.
  • At least 1 SAP technical migration experience (ECC to ECC) or S/4 Conversion Experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong technical and/or functional solutioning expertise in other SAP ERP Components (SAP Solution Manager, SAP S/4HANA with RISE, GRC).
  • Experience in Managed Services delivery for SAP ERP systems as a client or client-facing delivery lead.
  • Experience in Professional Services delivery for SAP ERP systems as a client or client-facing delivery lead.
  • Expertise in SAP ERP systems with an understanding of application portfolio rationalization/modernization/cloud transformation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the application and infrastructure ecosystem in terms of Products and Technologies.
  • Ability to understand client business and technology drivers for business IT alignment.
  • Strong capability to estimate, size, and identify dependencies/assumptions in solutioning.
  • Experience in collaborative technology solutioning including client workshops and joint solutioning sessions.
