About the position

The SAP Technical Solution Architect at Accenture is responsible for architecting technology solutions during the pre-sales cycle, focusing on Application Managed Services and Professional Services for Enterprise IT Systems. This role involves collaborating with clients to co-create solutions, driving technology delivery sign-offs, and ensuring alignment with client business objectives. The position requires strong technical expertise in SAP solutions and the ability to influence key stakeholders while promoting the use of standards in solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect the technology solution during the pre-sales sales cycle.
• Represent the solution in conversations with Operating Group leadership and sales team, senior client buyers, and functional owners.
• Drive necessary Technology Delivery sign-off on solutions with input from Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget, and preferences.
• Collaborate with the Operating Group sales team and Subject Matter Experts during the sales process; communicate and collaborate with delivery organizations.
• Promote the use of standards in solutions by coordinating with Legal and Commercial and directing Corporate Development Transaction Services.
• Provide input to Terms and Conditions and be accountable for specific contractual terms and conditions when appropriate.
• Work with Technology leadership to identify Point of Contact for delivery.
• Lead stabilization efforts on client deals where appropriate.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on SAP Technical (Basis/Security) managed and/or professional services solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping.
• Minimum of 1 SAP technical migration experience (ECC to ECC) OR S/4 Conversion Experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Nice-to-haves

• Strong technical and/or functional solutioning with expertise in other SAP ERP Components (SAP Solution Manager, SAP S/4HANA with RISE, GRC).
• Expertise/experience in Managed Services delivery for SAP ERP systems either as a client or as a client-facing delivery lead.
• Expertise/experience in Professional Services delivery for SAP ERP systems either as a client or as a client-facing delivery lead.
• Expertise in SAP ERP systems with an ability to give an Industry view of application portfolio rationalization/modernization/cloud transformation.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the application and infrastructure ecosystem in terms of Products and Technologies.
• Ability to understand client business and technology drivers - business IT alignment.
• Strong capability to estimate, size, and come up with dependencies/assumptions in solutioning.
• Ability to work across levels at the client; exposure to NA geography is a good additional skill.
• Strong aptitude to be an individual contributor.
• Experience and exposure in collaborative technology solutioning including client workshops, joint solutioning sessions, and co-creation sessions.
• Expert in formulating the solution storyline, ability to collaborate in creating client value propositions, Product/Concept selling, Pre-sales/Solution Architecting, Executive Presence.
• Experience in one or two major industries (utilities/chemicals/oil-gas, consumer goods/manufacturing/retail/pharma/life sciences, comms media and technology, health and public services, financial services).
