About The Position

Toyota’s One Tech Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Testing Automation Engineer. Automation Engineer is a specialized role focused on designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and efficiency in the development lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Business Technology Platform department's objective to improve the user experience, strive for 100% business continuity, and empower people and organizations to collaborate more efficiently.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Software Development Testing
• 2+ years of experience in Automation testing tools like UiPath and Selenium
• 2+ years of experience with Manual and load testing
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (.NET, Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python)
• Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases

Nice To Haves

• Experience with native mobile application testing
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred in Computer Science and/or Business Administration or Equivalent
• Ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-pressure culture
• Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Experience in SAP Technical Capacity
• Strong business critical platform management
• Self-motivated individuals preferred
• SAP Certified in Technology

Responsibilities

• Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process
• Establishing test strategies and designing test plans and cases
• Developing and executing automated UI and functional tests
• Enhancing and maintaining automated Continuous Integration (CI) flows
• Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to understand current conditions, and identify and prioritize business requirements as well as improvement opportunities
• Identifying and developing Automation solutions for areas where automation can assist with maintenance tasks and system stability
• Designing, Developing, and Performing load testing
