About the position

The SAP Time & Payroll Business Analyst will be responsible for configuring the SAP SuccessFactors HCM system, focusing on Payroll, Time, and Quotas. This role involves supporting business analysts in design and development, gathering requirements, and ensuring quality assurance of related applications. The analyst will also participate in team activities to enhance skills and improve work quality.

Responsibilities

  • Configure SAP SuccessFactors HCM system including Payroll, Time, Quotas.
  • Support Business Analysts with design, development & solution management.
  • Gather and participate in requirement gathering sessions with users and sponsors.
  • Define & document functional specifications, including configuration, enhancements, custom programs, reports & forms.
  • Author and communicate business process designs, business systems designs & system test plans.
  • Perform technical walk-through with development teams.
  • Present and discuss demos of SAP Best Practices.
  • Work on Upgrade projects planning & execution.
  • Support development team members during the detailed design & coding phase.
  • Perform Quality Assurance of related applications.
  • Author scripts and perform Unit, Regression & Integration testing.
  • Adhere to team & departmental development standards.
  • Demonstrate a logical & structured approach to time management & task prioritization.
  • Participate in team activities & planning to improve team skills, awareness & quality of work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience configuring SAP in a professional environment on SAP ERP 6.0 HCM or higher and/or Employee Central Payroll.
  • Strong level of experience on Time, Payroll and Quota configuration and processing.
  • 3+ years' experience supporting and troubleshooting Time, Payroll and Quota processes and issues.
  • Strong knowledge of related business and implementation processes with SAP HCM.
  • Good understanding of integration between SAP and SuccessFactors modules.
  • Ability to be proactive and assume full responsibility of related-module activities.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning new things.
  • Strong focus on customer needs and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with full life-cycle implementation projects.
  • Experience in successful project implementation and follow-up.
  • Very strong understanding of HR and Payroll best practices for SAP and SuccessFactors.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise-level applications including ERP.
  • ABAP for HR/Payroll and debug experience.
  • Canada localization experience.
