About the position
Sapporo Japanese Steak House & Bar is seeking to hire various positions including Servers, Hostess, Bartenders, Sushi Chefs, Hibachi Chefs, and Bussers. The roles are available for both full-time and part-time employment, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate different availability. Candidates with previous restaurant experience are preferred, and valid Food Handler and TABC certifications are required for applicants.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present sushi and hibachi dishes as required.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
- Greet and seat customers, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Requirements
- Valid Food Handler Certification.
- Valid TABC Certification.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a Japanese restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of Japanese language.
