About the position

The Breakfast Server at Saranello's is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves managing a section of tables, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience, and effectively communicating with team members and guests. The position requires a high energy level, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 3-6 table section.
• Accurately record and account for all items ordered and process payments.
• Balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies.
• Safely transport food or beverages to tables in a single trip.
• Use and operate all necessary tools and equipment effectively.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken directions.
• Multitask calmly in a busy, stressful environment.
• Work in a confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature levels.
• Move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift.

Requirements

• Ability to provide friendly and efficient guest service.
• Knowledge of food and wine.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Proficiency in using necessary tools and equipment, including POS systems.

Nice-to-haves
