About the position

The SAS Analyst/Developer with Python is responsible for developing and managing SAS and SQL reporting solutions to meet departmental reporting requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project team members and business stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions and ensure effective communication of field performance metrics. The position requires expertise in SAS and SQL, with a focus on Agile delivery models and data analysis to optimize field operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SAS and SQL reporting solutions.
• Plan and design new solutions to support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with project team members and clients to complete projects.
• Engage with business stakeholders to advise on business intelligence needs.
• Document requirements to assist technicians in building functional components.
• Deliver outputs through an Agile delivery model using Teradata and SAS.
• Design, track, and interpret key performance indicators and analytical models.
• Recommend action plans based on performance indicators to optimize field performance.
• Create and maintain static and Ad-Hoc deliverables for field performance communication.
• Compile and mine data from multiple business sources.
• Participate with project teams to resolve data anomalies and methodology questions.
• Work with statistical modelers to apply models in SAS for accurate forecasting.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on development using SAS base & advanced programming technologies.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL programming with large data extraction from Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake DBs.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in using GitHub Repositories.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake and Unix/Linux commands.

• Excellent communication, design, documentation, analytical, and SDLC skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of Python or Big Data is an advantage.
