About the position

ECS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAS Analytics Program Manager to lead a data analytics team focused on optimizing programs and driving business decisions in support of FDA's Health IT initiatives. This role involves managing projects, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analytical insights and reports while maintaining proactive communication with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more data and analytics project teams consisting of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Manage and prioritize projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of analytical insights and reports.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project scope, requirements, and resource availability.
  • Evaluate dependencies and risks, and drive solutions to completion.
  • Ensure consistent communication with clients and project teams throughout the execution of data and analytics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Program/Project Management experience.
  • At least three (3) years supervising and developing a team of direct reports implementing an analytics solution.
  • At least three (3) years developing and implementing enterprise data analytics strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, preferably within the Health IT or healthcare industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.
  • Experience with languages such as Python and R.
  • Experience with machine-learning (ML), robotic process automation (RPA), and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
