About the position

The SAS Developer/Programmer role focuses on providing Medicaid Care Management and Encounter Processing Solutions. The position requires expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics, along with the ability to design data conversion strategies and develop real-time analytics and reporting solutions for the Medicaid Enterprise Solution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions for Medicaid Care Management and Encounter Processing.
• Design data conversion strategies and real-time analytics solutions.
• Create documentation including technical designs, flow diagrams, and user documentation.
• Provide production support and resolve issues as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with technical colleagues and business users.
• Estimate effort and duration for assignments accurately.
• Work with SAS scheduler and create CI/CD pipelines for software build automation.
• Utilize ETL tools and Business Analytics tools for data integration and reporting.

Requirements

• Proficient in SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with data architecture, integration, visualization, and process automation.
• Strong programming skills in SAS, R, and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and Business Analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with GIT version control software and workflows.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, ETL architecture, and data governance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MongoDB and SAS Viya.
• Familiarity with Qlik and Talend.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and multi-schema files.
