About the position

The Retail Merchandising Peer Trainer at SAS Retail Services is responsible for providing in-store merchandising support to retailers, ensuring that shopping experiences are enhanced through effective product displays and inventory management. This role involves training and coaching team members, as well as onboarding new hires, contributing to the overall success of the retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers.
• Build displays and end caps to enhance product visibility.
• Reset shelves with product rotation to maximize sales opportunities.
• Track inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Support leadership with onboarding new hires.
• Train and coach team members to improve performance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical work including moving, bending, and standing.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in training or developing people is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location is necessary.
• Willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory.
