About the position

The SAS Programmer Analyst role is a contract position focused on data analysis and reporting using SAS Enterprise Guide and other tools. The position requires a blend of technical skills in data architecture, integration, and visualization, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The contractor will be expected to work on-site for part of the week initially, with some flexibility for remote work thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements
• Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes
• Creating extract files, reports, and analytics dashboards
• Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements
• Designing, developing, and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements
• Working with business users to understand requirements
• Working independently and collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external agencies, CMS, VITA, and vendors
• Working on multiple assignments concurrently and meeting important target dates

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in SAS programming
• Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide and Visual Analytics
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of data architecture and integration
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques
• Experience with R and SQL
• Proficiency in Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Entry-level analytics experience
