About the position

The SAS Programmer Analyst role involves utilizing SAS Enterprise Guide and other data analysis tools to support business requirements through data extraction, reporting, and visualization. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet complex business needs, while also managing multiple assignments in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements
• Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes
• Creating extract files, reports, and analytics dashboards
• Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements
• Designing, developing, and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements
• Working with business users to understand requirements
• Working independently and collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external agencies, CMS, VITA, and vendors
• Working on multiple assignments concurrently and meeting important target dates

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a SAS Programmer Analyst
• Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide
• Experience with Visual Analytics
• Strong data analysis skills
• Knowledge of data architecture and data integration
• Experience in data visualization and reporting
• Familiarity with R, SQL, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
• Experience with ETL processes
• Background in Business Analytics
