About the position

The SAS Programmer Analyst position at Trillium Professional involves working with Medicaid data solutions, specifically focusing on SAS programming, data conversion strategies, and real-time analytics. The role requires expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics to support Care Management and Encounter Processing solutions within the Medicaid Enterprise Solution. The analyst will be responsible for identifying data sources, creating automated data extracts, and developing reporting solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements
• Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes
• Creating extract files, reports, and analytics dashboards
• Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements
• Designing, developing, and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements
• Working with business users to understand requirements
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external departments, and vendors
• Managing multiple assignments concurrently and meeting important target dates

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics for data analysis and reporting
• 5 years of experience with data architecture, data integration, data visualization, reporting, and process automation
• 5 years of experience with SAS programming, R, and PL/SQL
• 5 years of experience with Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server
• 5 years of experience with ETL tools and Business Analytics tools
• 5 years of demonstrated ability to design, develop, and test solutions for complex user and agency requirements
• 5 years of development experience using Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
• 5 years of experience communicating verbally and in writing with technical colleagues and business users
• 5 years of experience providing accurate estimates of effort and duration to complete assignments
• 5 years of experience creating documentation including technical design, flow diagrams, test results, and user documentation
• 1 year of experience working with SAS scheduler
• 2 years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines and software build automation in platforms like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline
• 2 years of experience with GIT version control software and GIT workflows

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience with Qlik
• 1 year of experience with Talend
