About the position
The SAS Programmer Analyst will focus on developing and implementing data solutions for Medicaid services, specifically within the Care Management and Encounter Processing Solutions. This role requires expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide and visual analytics to design data conversion strategies and reporting solutions, ensuring compliance with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements
- Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes
- Creating extract files, reports, and analytics dashboards
- Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements
- Designing, developing, and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements
- Working with business users to understand requirements
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including external agencies and vendors
- Managing multiple assignments concurrently and meeting important target dates
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
- 5 years of experience in data architecture, data integration, and data visualization
- 5 years of experience with HL7, HIPAA, and X12 Transactions
- 5 years of experience with PL/SQL
- 5 years of experience with Oracle
