About the position

StudyPoint is seeking part-time SAT and ACT tutors to provide personalized instruction to students in their homes and online. The role involves utilizing a provided curriculum to enhance student learning outcomes while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Tutors will have the flexibility to design their own schedules and service areas, maximizing their income potential and student impact.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in SAT and ACT subjects, both in-person and online.
• Utilize and customize the provided curriculum to improve student outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees.
• Create a positive and safe learning environment for students.
• Conduct annual evaluations and provide feedback to students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• Strong academic background in all sections of the SAT/ACT, including verbal and math sections.
• Reliable access to a car for traveling to students' homes.
• Ability to tutor both in-person and online.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with online tutoring platforms.
• Familiarity with the SAT/ACT test structure and content.
