About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Early Career Satellite Systems Engineer to join the SAGE Team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves supporting 24x7 operations, monitoring production systems, and ensuring that customers receive accurate and relevant products to accomplish their missions. The position requires a willingness to work rotating shifts and offers extensive training through an education and certification program to enhance engineering skills in support of critical customer missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science and technology related program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and complete a CI Polygraph.
• US Citizenship is required for security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations.
• Familiarity with LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, XML.
• Understanding of software/hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
