About the position

The Irvington Public Schools is seeking a Saturday School Lead Teacher for the Union Avenue Middle School. This position is part of the Middle School Clubs/Saturday Academy program, which runs from January 2025 to June 2025. The hours for this role are from 3:05 P.M. to 4:05 P.M. The salary will be determined as per the collective bargaining agreement and is pending the availability of funds. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Saturday School program for middle school students.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities for students during Saturday sessions.
• Monitor student progress and provide support as needed.

Requirements

• Appropriate Certification for teaching in a middle school setting.
