About the position

The position is for a Saw Operator, where you will be responsible for operating routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided. You will carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Additionally, you will measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. You will also maintain logs and records of units produced and report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspecting equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, performing basic and routine adjustments and maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area are also key responsibilities. Following safety regulations and performing other duties as assigned are essential to this role.

Requirements
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
