About the position

The SBA Lender position is a full-time, remote role focused on building and maintaining relationships with clients while providing expert advice on SBA lending opportunities. The role involves soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of SBA loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies. The SBA Lender will also manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the bank's loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain account relationships by offering financial advice and counsel on SBA loans and related services.
  • Identify and approach potential and existing customers to develop new business opportunities and cross-sell additional bank services.
  • Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of SBA loans, ensuring adherence to all lending policies and procedures.
  • Manage ongoing customer accounts and develop strategies to expand loan portfolios.
  • Stay informed about SBA loan programs, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SBA lending within the local market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving high production goals and meeting lending targets.
  • Strong track record of expanding loans, client relationships, and cross-selling bank products.
