About the position

The Data Entry Operator II is responsible for operating a computer to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. This role requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, as well as searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. The position will initially require onsite training for approximately three months, after which it will transition to a work-from-home role, contingent upon achieving exceptional quality and productivity levels. The onboarding process includes an orientation on September 6th, followed by three weeks of onsite classroom training from September 9th to September 27th. Regular working hours will be Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 7 PM, with the expectation of working every other Saturday and potential overtime throughout the week. After September 30th, the regular hours will shift to 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with overtime as required. The role also involves logging into a computer to access work queues, reviewing computer images of documents, coding documents using an established list of codes, and verifying previously extracted information for accuracy. Additionally, the operator must adjust the orientation or lighting of documents as necessary and reference work instructions when needed. Attendance at mandatory meetings and trainings is required, along with the ability to work scheduled overtime with minimal notice.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Able to type 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
