About the position
The City of Corona has an exciting opportunity to join our Utilities Department as a SCADA Engineer. We provide a 4/10 work schedule (Mon-Thu) for most positions and rotating schedules for operations staff. Responsibilities
- Provide professional level support to Utilities Department's SCADA systems and devices.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex SCADA system issues.
- Develop and document process workflows, SCADA system specifications, and models.
- Use modern, state-of-the-art precision and diagnostic instruments to test, calibrate, and repair complex electrical and electronic devices and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering.
- Five years of increasingly responsible experience providing professional support to a SCADA technology system.
