SCADA Technician

About the position

The SCADA Technician role at JVT Advisors involves working with diverse computer systems and networks, specifically focusing on SCADA and EMS systems. The technician will be responsible for processing new tickets, reviewing open trouble tickets, and collaborating with customers to troubleshoot data problems related to various remote terminal units (RTUs) and network failures.

Responsibilities

• Process any new SCADA/ICCP/PMU/RTU tickets
• Review open trouble tickets for resolution, escalation, and closure
• Collaborate and assist internal and external customers in troubleshooting data problems related to RTUs, ICCP datalinks, and network failures

Requirements

• Solid experience with diverse computer systems and networks
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of EMS/SCADA systems
• 3 years of experience in SCADA
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Electrical experience
