About the position

The Housing Operations Facility Coordinator at SCAD is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in residential communities, managing maintenance issues, and serving as a liaison between housing operations and physical resources. This role involves overseeing multiple residential complexes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting various operational processes related to housing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in residential communities.
• Manage and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Serve in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency issues.
• Act as a liaison between SCADhome housing operations and physical resources.
• Work with student employees to facilitate health and safety inspections.
• Support opening, closing, and room change processes each quarter.
• Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance.
• Enforce the Housing License Agreement.
• Manage facility data with the StarRez platform.
• Coordinate small facility projects.
• Oversee regular quality inspections such as fire drills.
• Provide ancillary facilities-specific services such as building access accommodations for events.
• Provide guidance, training, and development to staff regarding housing operations processes.
• Provide recommendations to the director of housing operations on opportunities, improvements, and innovations for residence life and housing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.
