About the position

The Scaffold Builder Journeyman at Heat Tech Industrial (HTI) is responsible for constructing, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures for various industrial projects. This role emphasizes safety and excellence, contributing to HTI's reputation as a leading provider of industrial soft trades. The position requires a commitment to teamwork and strong customer relationships, as well as the ability to work in diverse environments and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures on construction sites
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine scaffold placement and design
• Erect scaffolds following industry safety standards and company policies
• Transport, set up, and secure scaffolding materials, ensuring stability and structural integrity
• Offload and distribute components, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety concerns

Requirements

• Construction industry experience is a must
• Minimum 2 years of experience and be familiar with both cuplock and ringlock
• Extensive knowledge of scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Must possess a valid drivers license and have a clean record
• Preference given to US Citizens
