About the position

The Scaffold Foreman at BrandSafway is responsible for overseeing scaffold operations at job sites, ensuring safety compliance, managing manpower efficiently, and performing administrative duties. This role requires effective communication with customers and team members, as well as strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the scaffold crew. The Foreman must ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and within budget, while also maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and branch manager to understand job scope and schedule.
• Maintain a safe work site by monitoring compliance with safety program requirements.
• Oversee direct manpower at the job site, managing costs and scheduling to minimize overtime.
• Perform administrative duties including inventory management, safety meetings, payroll, and documentation of job site activities.
• Review pre-job plans to ensure work is completed as bid and designed, documenting any out-of-scope work for change orders.
• Supervise scaffold crew(s) and perform labor work as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent oral communication skills to interact with co-workers and customers.
• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees.
• Ability to present a clean professional image and encourage subordinates to do the same.
• 5 years of craft experience in commercial or industrial markets.
