About the position
The Scalable Big Data Architect role involves managing the delivery and architectural design of scalable big data solutions, specifically within the banking or insurance domains. Responsibilities
- Manage delivery and oversee 2 scrum teams.
- Hands-on coding and development of scalable big data solutions.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback on code snippets.
- Create Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new designs and solutions.
- Ensure designs are scalable and meet performance requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with Big Data applications and products such as Spark, Azure, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET/.NET for application development.
- Hands-on experience with design patterns and scalable architecture.
- Ability to work with large data sets, specifically in the banking or insurance domain.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
- Familiarity with Job Management (SJM) processes.
