About the position
The position at Advantage Metals Recycling LLC focuses on ensuring safety and compliance in all operations. The role involves customer interaction, processing transactions, and maintaining safety records while coordinating shipments. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to safety practices and performing various administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Obtain required information from customers for all transactions and complete necessary purchasing and shipping documents.
- Conduct daily reconciliations and review all documents to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
- Coordinate shipments via rail and truck, maintaining safety records.
- Process paperwork related to radiation events and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 2 years' cash handling and direct customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- High School diploma; college degree preferred.
- Basic math, account reconciliation, computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with customers.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge for work-related purposes.
