TJN Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale Operator/Office Associate to join our team in Yankton, SD. This full-time position offers a great schedule, with the option for part-time work as well. The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting customers, answering phone calls, weighing trucks, and performing data entry tasks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for general office duties such as filing, invoicing, and general accounting entries. In this role, you will be directing truck drivers to specific areas within the scrap metal yard to unload their trucks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential, as the candidate will be required to work at both the East and West yard locations. The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, approximately from 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay will be commensurate with experience, and we are looking for someone who is dependable and has a strong work ethic. Experience with truck scales is a plus, but not mandatory. Proficiency in interpersonal communication, 10-key data entry, basic math skills, and Microsoft Office is required for this position.
