About The Position

The Scalehouse Attendant serves as the first point of contact for customers at a Waste Management Facility, ensuring safe waste disposal and accurate payment processing. This role is essential for maintaining safety standards and providing excellent customer service while performing administrative tasks related to waste management operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited).
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and directs traffic at the facility.
• Calculates payments for customers accurately.
• Ensures incoming garbage loads are safe and free of inappropriate materials.
• Monitors safety compliance for customers and employees, ensuring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintains general upkeep of the Scale House.
• Completes administrative tasks including filing and required reports.
• Keeps the immediate supervisor informed of any issues or concerns.
• Attends company-sponsored training and meetings as required.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Performs additional duties such as data entry and minor customer service tasks.
