About The Position

The Scanning Specialist at Prevea Health is responsible for reviewing and scanning incoming documents from clinic locations into the EpicCare system, ensuring they are linked to the appropriate patient orders and encounters. Requirements

• A minimum of one-year post-secondary education.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of Medical Terminology.
• Exceptional customer retention skills.
• Proficiency in PC skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
• Organizational skills for timely patient appointments and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Review all incoming documents sent from clinic locations.
• Link scanned documents in EpicCare to specific patient orders or encounters.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Attend required training and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Utilize scanning equipment and navigate the Epic System as needed.
